Studied education, psychology/psychoanalysis, sociology, linguistics, literature and supervision. Doctorate on group and team supervision, habilitation on career counseling. Has worked as a supervisor, organizational consultant, coach and career consultant since the early 1980s, initially freelance, then part-time; from 1994 also as a coach for top management at Volkswagen, awarded by VW Coaching as a top quality coach. Parallel to this, lecturer and teaching supervision at Trias and teaching assignments at universities. 1993 Appointment to the first professorship for ‘Supervision and Organizational Consulting’ at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, development and management of the postgraduate diploma course. Research semester on the learning organization in spring 1998 at the Center for Organizational Learning at MIT, the Society for Organizational Learning and Boston College. Subsequently, development of a second postgraduate course in ‘Management and Organizational Development’ as well as conception and management of the further training course in ‘Organizational Consulting state of the art’ offered jointly by VW Coaching and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Second research semester on career and career counseling, development and implementation of further training in ‘Triadic Career Counseling’ for personnel developers and consultants. 1993-2002 editor and editorial director of the journal Supervision, on the advisory board of the book series ‘Organization’ of EHP Verlag, since 2017 on the advisory board of the journal OSC. Numerous publications on supervision and counseling. Recently retired with time for research and discovery, consulting and gardening. Further development of the New Triadic Thinking NTDĀ® and the Triadic Model of Change together with Prof. Dr. Michael Giesecke.
